Our dog lead snap hooks are made from a4 316 marine grade stainless steel. Meaning they will withstand the most harsh conditions including salt water. Dogs do love a good walk along the beach and our trigger hooks are ready for any elements that may be transfered from the collar and harness to the trigger hook.
Unless the stainless steel is stated as 316 A4, then it usually is 304 A2 which is not rust free. So make sure you get marine grade stainless for the best strength and corrosion resistance!
